The 21st ITF IIC was held on the Gold Coast in Australia
on the weekend 11-13 of August with one hundred participants.
Participants from Scotland, Norway, New Zealand and Malaysia attended
the course. Master Paul MacPhail from New Zealand and Master Thompson
from Scotland were present training hard during the 3 days.
The Technical Committee ran the course during 3 days in a professional
way, all the participants were involved in some item all the time,
the atmosphere was great and the participants enjoyed the event
immensely!
The IIC content included the 24 patterns, step sparring, self-defence,
sparring, umpiring, and the class of DO (under the instruction of
the ITF President, Master Tran). We really appreciate the passion
the participants showed the Masters, it was inspirational!
Elections for the AITF Inc (Australian National Governing Body)
Executive Committee were held on Saturday evening.

We congratulate the effort of Master Michael Daher (President of
the Oceania Taekwon-Do Federation), Mr Peter Barbour from Perth,
Mr Charles Birch from Brisbane and all the instructor present who
took part in the elections.
Our thanks are extended to the ITF for giving us the opportunity
to grow in Taekwon-Do.
